UPDATED 6 Sept 2016: Pakistan has been forecasted to be the world’s fastest-growing Muslim economy ahead of Indonesia and Malaysia, according to London’s The Economist magazine.

Pakistan’s GDP growth is nearly double the 2.7% GDP growth of Israel.

This makes Pakistan to be world’s 5th fastest growing economy in the world, only behind India and China and two other countries.

In an interactive table of economic and financial indicators published on The Economist website, live data which is updated twice-daily, Pakistan GDP is forecast to be growing at 5.7% in 2016.
