MUMBAI: The ex-Pakistani singer Adnan Sami, who recently gained Indian citizenship last year, praised Indian Prime Minister Modi and Indian armed forces for what he called ‘successful’ ‘strike’ against terrorists.

Adnan Sami became an Indian citizen in January 2015. As Pakistani artists are being threatened to leave Indian after tension, many wondered on the social media if he too will be asked to leave the country, Samaa reported.
